Design Notes - Sonic Henge Stage

The Sonic Henge is a spiritually enhanced musical performance space. It uses various techniques and technologies to create a minimal impact, spiritually enhanced performance zone. For example, all amplification is battery powered and is connected via low power wireless technology.

In addition, the Sonic Henge is a highly advanced musical listening space, with a thirteen channel surround sound system, the audience becomes a part of the performance and is treated to a unique sonic experience. Future enhancements already in the pipeline will allow sonic patterns to rotate around the performance zone.

Stage

The stage is a circular space raised approximately 1ft off the ground. Surrounding the space are thirteen sonic projectors housed in pyramids. These project sonic and spiritual vibrations into the central performance space, which has thirteen reflectors mounded around its perimeter. This allows the vibrations to be reflected into the air space above the stage.
